Today I Finished . . .

 . . . piecing my sister's quilt top.
It was a pattern with fabrics already selected.
But it's beautiful. The kits do make for much less decision making. This one was actually rather fun and came together pretty quick - just a little over 2 months. However, the quilting remains. And it's in line behind a couple of others. I am hoping to complete the quilting by year's end. It will be close.

Snow. Again.

 What? Again!
This time, it can't decide if it wants to snow or ice or rain.
Whatever, I am ready to be finished with winter!

Spring!

Nothing says spring quite like
crocuses!
And our clover lawn is such a beautiful green. It is filling in nicely. I have a few bare spots I'll need to reseed soon.

Then there are spring projects!
We have been working hard to finally finish repairing the retaining wall. With the patio rid of its broken brick covering, the stones have a solid foundation to sit on. Mr. Wonderful ordered 12 tons of dirt. Yep, 12 tons of dirt. We have several raised beds to finish filling, beds to fill completely, and the back fill behind the wall to finish.
My plants are enjoying a little sunshine. I started things too soon this year. They really want to be planted outdoors, but it is just not time yet.

I just might be longing for those days in February when it was too cold to work outside. Ah, no. Not a chance. So ready for spring this year.
