Record Cold

it has been COLD!!!

It got down to -17*F here. Utilities asking customers to conserve, conserve, conserve. Rolling black outs were in place in town for a while, but we were lucky and didn't go down. We have kept the fireplace roaring with the furnace fan circulating the warm air, so the gas use is within reason. There's snow again, but I'm not so enamored with it this time. Sub-zero temperatures kill the joy of snow.

Ugh, wanting some above freezing temperatures.

More Snow

Well, it snowed again. We haven't had a huge snow, but we've had enough that it seems like winter.
